1. Information We Collect or Process
The App may collect or process the following information depending on the features used:
- User identifiers, account identifiers, anonymous identifiers, authentication state, and sign-in provider information
- Name, display name, profile information, and email address when provided through authentication or account features
- Conversation language, language level, voice preference, allowed call days and time windows, desired frequency, notification settings, and other app settings
- VoIP push tokens, push notification tokens, and technical information needed for device identification, delivery, and fraud prevention
- Call schedules, call times, answer status, missed calls, call duration, end reasons, daily usage counts, entitlement information, and other call metadata
- Microphone audio and AI audio responses necessary to process real-time AI voice conversations
- Conversation transcripts, per-call summaries, language-learning notes, user profiles, and profile information that users edit, delete, or add
- Purchase history, transaction IDs, product IDs, expiration dates, refund, expiration, renewal status, App Account Token, and other information necessary to provide in-app purchases and subscriptions
- App usage data, screen events, feature usage, device information, OS version, app version, crash data, diagnostics, and performance information
- Inquiry, feedback, bug report, and support information submitted by the user
This information is collected or generated through user input, speech during conversations, in-app settings, device permissions, authentication providers, App Store and StoreKit, third-party services such as Firebase, and logs or metadata automatically generated while using the App.
2. Audio, Transcripts, and AI Processing
- To provide real-time voice conversations with AI, the App sends microphone audio during calls, conversation content, transcripts, prompts, AI responses, and related metadata to external services such as Firebase AI Logic / Vertex AI Gemini API (Google LLC) for processing.
- The Developer's policy is not to store the call audio itself in persistent storage managed by the Developer, persistent device storage, or similar storage.
- However, the App may store transcripts, conversation summaries, learning notes, and profile information in order to review conversations and personalize future calls.
- If users speak personal or sensitive information during a call, such as name, address, occupation, relationships, health status, romantic relationships, or personal concerns, that information may appear in transcripts, summaries, or profile information.
- AI responses, transcripts, summaries, and profile extraction may be inaccurate or incomplete.
3. Sharing with Third-Party AI Services and Consent
For AI voice conversations, transcription, summarization, profile extraction, conversation personalization, quality improvement, troubleshooting, and fraud prevention, the App may send the following information to Firebase AI Logic / Vertex AI Gemini API and related Google Cloud / Firebase services provided by Google LLC.
- Microphone audio during calls, transcripts generated from conversation content, prompts sent to AI, and AI audio responses
- Conversation language, language level, voice preference, user-entered or edited profile information, previous conversation summaries, learning notes, and other information needed to personalize conversations
- Call session IDs, transmission times, call duration, error information, device and app technical information, and related metadata needed for processing, quality, security, and fraud prevention
Before the App sends personal data to a third-party AI service, the App explains in-app what data will be sent, who it will be sent to, and why it will be used, and asks for the user's explicit permission. If a user does not grant permission or later revokes it, some features such as AI voice conversations, transcription, summaries, profile extraction, and conversation personalization may be unavailable.
4. Purpose of Use
Collected or processed information is used for the following purposes:
- To provide account, authentication, call settings, random incoming calls, VoIP push, CallKit, AI voice conversation, transcription, summaries, profiles, learning records, and purchase features
- To create call schedules within the time windows allowed by the user and control call frequency and duration based on entitlement status
- To summarize conversations and personalize future conversations
- To process, verify, restore, and manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, free periods, and entitlements
- To operate, maintain, improve, and personalize the App
- To analyze usage, investigate bugs, prevent fraud, maintain security, improve reliability, and respond to support requests
- To send notices, updates, or notifications when necessary and permitted
5. Local Storage and Data Loss
- The App may store some authentication information in secure device storage, lightweight settings in UserDefaults, and domain data in temporary or in-memory storage.
- Some local caches and in-memory data are designed to be deleted when the App process ends, when the user logs out, or when the App resets its local database.
- Unsaved, temporary, cached, in-progress, unsynced, or locally stored data may be lost when the App is closed, terminated, updated, uninstalled, when the device restarts, or when storage is cleaned by the operating system.
6. Cloud Services and Synchronization
The App uses cloud services to support authentication, call scheduling, VoIP push, call records, transcripts, summaries, profiles, purchase entitlement records, analytics, and other app functionality. Information stored in the cloud is used for the user's App experience, for operation by the Developer, and for processing by service providers.
