1. Information We Collect
The App may collect or process the following information depending on the features used:
- User identifiers, account identifiers, anonymous identifiers, authentication state, and sign-in provider information
- Name, display name, profile information, and email address when provided through authentication or account features
- Measurement session information, room information, start times, finish times, measurement results, result entries, and related metadata
- Photos, videos, frame timing information, and recording metadata created or selected by the user for photo-finish measurement
- Purchase history and entitlement information necessary to provide paid features
- App usage data, screen events, feature usage, device information, OS version, app version, crash data, diagnostics, and performance information
- Inquiry, feedback, bug report, and support information submitted by the user
- Push notification tokens or related notification settings when notification features are used
2. Purpose of Use
The collected information is used for the following purposes:
- To provide account, authentication, room creation, room joining, timing, recording, result review, sharing, and purchase features
- To synchronize measurement sessions and timing-related information between devices
- To store and display measurement results and related metadata
- To process, verify, restore, and manage in-app purchases and entitlements
- To operate, maintain, improve, and personalize the App
- To analyze usage, investigate bugs, prevent fraud, improve reliability, and respond to support requests
- To send notices, updates, or notifications when necessary and permitted
3. Local Storage and Data Loss
- The App may store some authentication information in secure device storage, lightweight settings in UserDefaults, and domain data in temporary or in-memory storage.
- Some local caches and in-memory data are designed to be deleted when the App process ends, when the user logs out, or when the App resets its local database.
- Photo-finish videos and related metadata may be saved locally on the recording device. These files may be excluded from iCloud backup and are not guaranteed to be restored after device replacement, reset, App deletion, App reinstallation, operating system cleanup, or device failure.
- Unsaved, temporary, cached, in-progress, or locally stored data may be lost when the App is closed, terminated, updated, uninstalled, when the device restarts, or when storage is cleaned by the operating system.
- Users should export, share, or otherwise preserve important videos and results outside the App when needed.
4. Cloud Services and Device-to-Device Synchronization
The App uses cloud services to support authentication, measurement rooms, timing information, purchase entitlement records, messages, reports, analytics, and other app functionality. However, photo-finish videos recorded on a device are not guaranteed to be uploaded to or backed up by the cloud.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
The Developer does not sell personal information. Information may be shared or processed by third parties only in the following cases:
- When the user has given consent
- When required by law, court order, or public authority
- When necessary to provide App functionality through service providers
- When necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, abuse, or technical issues
- When purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
6. Third-Party Services
The App may use the following third-party services. These services may collect or process information in accordance with their own policies.
- Firebase (Google LLC) including Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Messaging, Remote Config, and related services
- Google Sign-In / Google services (Google LLC)
- Apple services including Sign in with Apple, App Store, StoreKit, and device permissions
- Network time synchronization services used to estimate accurate time for measurement
7. Tracking and Analytics
The App may use analytics and diagnostic information to improve quality and reliability. The App does not use collected information for cross-app or cross-site tracking unless the user has consented where required by applicable law or platform rules.
8. Data Security
The Developer takes reasonable measures to manage collected information securely and to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and the Developer cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention and Deletion
The Developer retains information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, for operation of the App, for fraud prevention, for legal compliance, or for resolving disputes. Some information may remain in backups, logs, App Store records, or third-party service records for a limited period according to each provider's policies.
10. User Rights
If a user requests disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal information, the Developer will respond appropriately in accordance with applicable laws. Please contact us using the information below.
11. Children's Privacy
If a minor uses the App, a parent or guardian should review this Policy and supervise the use of the App as appropriate. The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
12. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised as necessary. Any updates will take effect from the time they are posted within the App or on the official website, unless otherwise specified.
